This project involved building a custom client portal for a professional services business that was drowning in email-based client communication. Clients needed to submit documents, track the progress of their matter, sign documents and communicate with the team — all of which was happening inefficiently via email with no central record.
The challenge
The team was spending significant time on administrative tasks — chasing documents, answering status enquiries and managing email threads for dozens of active client matters simultaneously. Client satisfaction was affected by slow response times and lack of visibility into progress.
The solution
We built a branded client portal with secure authentication, matter tracking, document upload and management, e-signature integration, a messaging centre and automated status notifications. Clients log in to see their matter progress without needing to contact the team. The team dashboard shows all active matters, outstanding client actions and deadlines in a single view.
